I am a New York state-licensed Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in private practice providing both psychopharmacology and psychotherapy.

During my extensive career, I have had the privilege of supporting my clients to develop tools that bring balance and joy into their lives through:

• freedom from anxiety, depression, and mood swings.

I blend a depth of medical knowledge with a professional, yet warm and personable style in service to all who walk through my door; indeed, I have been told that finding a good therapist who is also a skilled, experienced prescriber of medication is not an easy task.

Too often psychiatrists overly focus on medications and do not explore other important aspects of your life, such as relationships, family, and work issues. I am not only interested in how your medications are working, but I also discuss other areas of your life which can have an impact on your mental health. It is my belief that this feedback is vital to your success.

Since the year 2000, long before Nurse Practitioners in NY were granted the legal right to practice independently (without a supervising psychiatrist), I offered this unique combination of psychotherapy and medication management for my patients under the guidance of my mentor, Dr. Roger Feldman. Dr. Feldman put his faith and trust in my abilities to effectively help others by signing a collaborative agreement enabling me to successfully practice as I have. In short, his 40 years of experience and wisdom have no doubt helped me transform the lives of hundreds of patients over my 20 years in private practice. I still consult with Dr. Feldman for a second opinion as needed because I am committed to making certain that you achieve your goals for a healthy and fulfilling life.
